Kuroko works in paper trading mode without any wallet. When you are ready to place real orders on Polymarket, connecting a wallet takes about 30 seconds and requires only a social login — no seed phrase, no browser extension.

What connecting a wallet unlocks

In paper mode, all features are simulated. Once your wallet is connected, the following become live:
  • Order execution — trades route through your wallet to Polymarket’s Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) and fill in real time
  • Real position tracking — your open positions load from Polymarket and appear in the portfolio view
  • AI position context — the AI sees your live positions and factors them into its analysis
  • Position guard execution — stop-loss and take-profit rules execute real exit orders when thresholds are crossed
Paper trading is always available regardless of wallet status. You can simulate trades, run the edge engine, set position guards, and use AI chat without connecting a wallet.

How to connect

1

Click Connect Wallet in the navigation bar

The Connect Wallet button appears in the top navigation bar. Click it to open the Para wallet modal.
2

Choose your login method

Select Google, Twitter, Discord, or Email. Para creates a non-custodial wallet tied to your social account — no seed phrase is generated or required.
3

Complete the authentication flow

Follow the OAuth prompt for your chosen provider. The process takes a few seconds and stays within your browser.
4

Confirm you are signed in

Your wallet address appears in green in the top navigation bar. This Signing Ready status means Kuroko can route orders through your wallet for live execution. The AI now has access to your open Polymarket positions.

Understanding wallet status in the nav bar

The top navigation bar shows your current connection state at a glance:
  • Paper Mode — no wallet connected. All activity is simulated and free to use.
  • Signing Ready (green wallet address) — wallet connected and ready. Live order execution, real position tracking, and position guard auto-execution are all active.

Network requirement

Kuroko executes orders on Polygon (chain ID 137). Your wallet must hold USDC on Polygon to fund live trades. Orders submitted on a different network will fail.
All Polymarket trades settle on the Polygon network. If you are funding your wallet for the first time, make sure you are bridging or depositing USDC specifically to Polygon — not Ethereum mainnet or any other chain.

Managing your connected wallet

Click your wallet address in the top navigation bar to open the Para account management modal. From there you can view your balance, add funds, send or withdraw, and disconnect your wallet.
You can disconnect your wallet at any time and return to paper trading mode. Your trade history, alerts, and position guards are stored locally and will still be there when you reconnect.
