API keys: unlock AI chat and live wallet execution

Kuroko works out of the box without any keys. Add an aomi key for AI chat and a Para key for wallet sign-in to unlock live trade execution.

Kuroko runs in full paper trading mode the moment you open it — no account, no keys, no setup. The two optional API keys unlock specific capabilities: the aomi key powers the AI chat with your personal rate limits, and the Para key enables wallet sign-in so you can place real orders on Polymarket.

You can use every feature in Kuroko — AI chat, edge scoring, market discovery, order simulation, position guards, and price alerts — without any API key. Paper trading mode requires nothing.

aomi API key

The aomi key connects the AI chat to the aomi backend under your own account. Without a key, Kuroko uses the default shared aomi app, which works but shares rate limits with other users. With your own key, you get a dedicated rate limit and the full AI chat experience.

What it enables: AI chat at / with live Polymarket market context — current probabilities, 24-hour and 7-day changes, volume, liquidity, and your open positions injected into every message.

Without it: The AI chat still works using the default aomi app. You may hit rate limits faster during high-traffic periods.

Para API key

The Para key enables the wallet connection modal, which lets you sign in with Google, Twitter, Discord, or email — no seed phrase required. Without it, the wallet connect button is unavailable.

What it enables: Wallet sign-in and live order execution on Polymarket via Para’s non-custodial signing infrastructure.

Without it: Wallet connection is unavailable. Paper trading still works fully — you can simulate trades, track outcomes, and use every other feature.

Rate limits

These limits apply to requests Kuroko makes on your behalf while using the app:

If you hit a rate limit, wait a minute and try again. The market data limit covers market browsing, order book fetches, and position lookups — normal trading activity stays well within it.
